Blog update, hmm....It's been a while & lot's has gone on. The kids have been sick for the past week but thankfully it's nothing serious. Tim was working really long hours and I was seriously stressing. I don't understand how the military wives do it because I was going insane not spending anytime with my husband and doing everything on my own. I felt like a single mother. They say what doesn't kill you only make you stronger and I agree. I appreciate my husband even more now.

Well Abrielle is really loving pre-school. As a matter of fact she was bummed when she had to miss two days last week because she was sick. I was silently pleased.

Aiden is really getting close to walking. He stands for at lease 10 seconds without any help. It's so funny because he gets excited and shrieks with joy. I know he will be walking by his birthday.

We are going for a long weekend vacation to Midland tomorrow for a family reunion and to watch three of our nephews play football. We all are very excited and really looking forward to it. Tim needs a break really bad and I know he will enjoy his time with his family.

I had my second book club meeting this past Saturday and was a little disappointed. Not with the book but with the restaurant and i wasn't pleased with my decision. Next time I will plan a better meet up. We did go for drinks after and I was glad to get out and relax.

I did watch an awesome movie yesterday. The Secret Lives of Bee's. It was so good. I had read the book a while back and usually I don't care to watch the movie because it never does the book justice but this truly did. If you haven't seen it you should go rent it. It is one of my favorites now. The motto is that no one is unlovable. Love it! Now that is a book up for a great discussion!!

One appreciative momma

Children are precious! Especially mine!!

I just love the smell of my babies breath! Morning breath, sleepy breath even spit up breath! (Inhale) Mmm....yummy! If you are a mommy then you know what I mean. Then there are the baby coos, oh what a delight to my ears. Of course I'm talking about Aiden my sweet little prince. He is just so precious! His presence is so peaceful to me. He makes me appreciate life much more than before. Having him makes me take in every little moment. He makes me see how fast life passes & to embrace the small things because soon they are gone & those are the things you miss. I so wish I could freeze him & Abrielle so I can hold on to them as children a little longer.

I see now how fast Abrielle is growing & feel that Aiden was hardly ever a baby. I really enjoy my time as a stay at home mom to be here for every moment and even if they do grow fast at least it is before my eyes. Witnessing first words, steps & smiles make my heart fill with appreciation. Watching my princess on the stage for the first time & seeing her smile & enjoy life is a gift. When my kids are happy so am I. That's all that matters. Children are precious!

Moms in town

So my mom came into town today, yep home made tortillas for me!! Well when mom is here she cleans out my closets, refrigerator & tomorrow the garage!! What is it with moms & there obsessive cleaning? I so did not inherit that gene. :-( I'm not complaining though I love it! (to a point) Saturday we (SHE) is having a garage sale to get rid of the junk piling up & unneeded baby clothes that are quickly accumulating. Any who I'm ready to regain some space so bring it on!!





KID UPDATE:


Abrielle started dance again & this year we added modeling. You should see her catwalk, my baby can work it! She is so darn cute! Honestly I'm not one of those mommy's that thinks my kids are the cutest in the world (yea right) I'm totally doing this to strengthen & build her confidence. So far so good....









Aiden is just as mobile as can be & he's not even walking yet. He loves playing on the floor & he is constantly pulling himself up. I'd be OK with it if it weren't for our yucky cement floors but for now its all eyes on Aiden!!





Well that's all I have to say for tonight. Now off to bed to try to get a book read [by Saturday- our first book club meet], I'll tell you more about that later.
